Our favourite lesson: Vinyl
As we are close to the end of our 8th season, the "Level 1" members of DJing had the unique experience of contacting vinyl records and pickup.
Our entire course this year had this point as a destination, as it does every year. Everything our members learn about advanced machines (e.g. Pitch Control) is based on playing on turntables. This has been a principle of ours, from the beginning of our school till today.
Returning to the roots of DJing and learning this difficult technology offered a tremendous experience to our members, who learned to weigh the needle, hold the vinyl correctly etc., covering a knowledge that many DJs today, unfortunately, do not have.
We are proud that the members of DJ Survival are learning, theoretically and practically, the history of electronic music.
