We went to Detlef's studio in Thessaloniki
On February 8th, three of our members from "EMP" (Electronic Music Production) had the unique opportunity to visit Detlef's studio in Thessaloniki.
Detlef is one of the cases of Greek DJs and producers who excel abroad, with notable highlights such as the No.1 spot on Beatport with the EP "Swagon".
Detlef talked for hours with our members and saw them the way he works. They listened to his unreleased projects, he talked to them about the way he chooses his releases, he explained the business side of music and social media and, in general, told them how he managed to become an established name abroad, with countless gigs and collaborations with the top electronic music labels.
In short, they got the vibe of an internationally successful Greek producer/DJ, who is a role model for many young people entering the field.
It should be noted that Detlef has released work with respectable labels, such as Hot Creations, Moon Harbour and Relief. He has also earned the support and respect of Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Green Velvet, Matthias Tanzmann and Pete Tong.
We are glad that our academy gave these members this opportunity. Such unique experiences for our members will continue.
