We are happy to announce that in our academy, there is the brand new "Euphonia" 4-channel professional mixer from AlphaTheta, with a rotary potentiometer.

Euphonia produces a unique sound, combining the richness of analog, vintage, live sound with the purest quality and precision of digital, which seems to be the first time we've listened from a DJing mixer.

The sound coming out of the Euphonia is passed through a transformer circuit designed jointly by AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs, the legendary makers of excellent analog audio circuits, adored by artists and engineers around the world.

This circuit, specially tuned for Euphonia, creates a "shiny" and "warm" sound, which offers very smooth changes and incredibly smooth mixing.

Also, the specially developed rotary faders make you feel one, as a DJ, with the music.

Low frequencies like kicks and bass are punchier, mid frequencies like vocals and instruments have more presence in the final result, and high frequencies like hi-hats sound completely natural.

Euphonia has 5 built-in effects (Delay, Tape Echo, Echo Verb, Reverb, Shimmer) and also an HPF (high-pass filter). You can also connect external effects units.

Euphonia seems designed to enter in a new era of rotary mixers, combining analog and digital elements, both internally and externally.

We are very happy that next season's members at our school will have the opportunity to experiment with this as well, gaining even more experience and familiarity with the machines out there for DJs.
